UNISON Inverclyde supporting Port Glasgow Otters Swimming Club

Unison Inverclyde Branch have made a donation to sponsor 4 young swimmers from Port-Glasgow Otters Swimming Club who will be participating in the Great Britain Special Olympics event (For people with Learning Disabilities) in Sheffield between 7th -12th August 2017.

These are 4 of the local participants selected to represent the Special Olympics Scotland West Team (SOSWT). Unison has also provided the 4 local young people with tee shirts, jackets and a goody bag.

There are another 30 plus members of the Scotland West Team from various clubs in Glasgow and the West who are also participating.

In the picture from left to right Aimee Hagan, Andrew Hemphill (Coach) Ross O’Donnell, Lindi Steele and (Katie Boyle not in picture).  Katie has also represented at the Special Olympics in past years and has won various medals.

Unison has also provided the young people with tee shirts, jackets and a goody bag.

Unison Inverclyde Branch is pleased to be associated and able to support local people and wish all the young swimmers every success at Sheffield.
