Branch Officers Campaigning today to Reject Pay Offer

UNISON Local Government members in Inverclyde were being urged this morning to reject their employer’s pay offer when Branch Officers campaigned at the Municipal Buildings.

The Scottish employers have offered those employees earning less than £35,000 a £350 increase (pro-rata based on 37 hours) and a 1% increase for those earning more than £35,000. UNISON believes that the offer does not go far enough to addressing their claim for a flat rate payment of £1000 for all employees.

The consultative ballot which is being conducted online closes on Friday and we are encouraging members who haven’t voted to do so before the deadline on Friday.
