UNISON Scotland – Draft Scottish Budget Briefing

The Scottish Government has published their draft budget for 2018/19.

UNISON Scotland has published a briefing giving an overview of the budget and highlighting the issues of most interest to UNISON members.

The conclusion is bad news for Councils, roughly steady state for everyone else. A better pay policy, but still below the real cost of living and not fully funded given inflation assumptions at around half the OBR forecasts.
