Members Vote To Accept New Pay & Grading Model

Following our ballot on the new pay and grading structure, the Branch is pleased to confirm that 85% of members voted to accept the proposal. This will result in a consolidated living wage with the removal of supplements, the restoration of differentials on the lower pay scales and shorter grades across the pay structure. UNISON have been calling for a grading solution since previous pay differentials were removed and we believe this delivers a better pay model across the Council.
