Local Government Pay Ballot
All UNISON members working in Scottish Local Government should today have received a consultative ballot by email. (Please give it a day or so if it has not yet arrived).
We are asking whether you are willing to take some form of action, up to and including strike action, in pursuit of an improved and acceptable pay offer from the employer.
UNISON’s Scottish Local Government Committee is recommending that you vote YES to indicate your willingness to take some form of action in pursuit of an improved and acceptable offer from the employer. You have until 5pm on 22nd April to cast your vote.
Unfortunately we believe this is now the only way to achieve movement in the employer’s position.
If you’ve not received an e-mail with your voting link please check your junk/spam folders. If you still have not received by 15th April it might be because we do not have up to date details for you. Please log in to MyUnison to check that the details we hold for you are up to date.
The attachment below has FAQ to help and if you have any queries please contact your workplace steward or the Branch Office. Further details are available on the UNISON Scotland website.
