Members Christmas Cinema Treat Returns
The Branch are delighted to announce that the Annual Christmas Members Cinema treat returns in December at the Waterfront Cinema in Greenock.
Only members of UNISON Inverclyde Branch can apply for tickets.
There are three movies this year, the Saturday and Sunday morning showings are Matilda the Musical, this movie is an adaption of the Roald Dahl novel which is directed and co stars Danny DeVito.
The Saturday evening movie is Violent Night, where a group of mercenaries attack the estate of a wealthy family on Christmas Eve and Santa Claus must step in to save the day. The movie stars David Harbour as Santa Claus.
The Sunday afternoon showing is the new Marvel Black Panther movie, Wakanda Forever. The leaders of the kingdom of Wakanda fight to protect their nation from invading forces in the wake of King T’Challa’s death and a new threat emerges from the hid- den undersea nation of Talokan.
When are the showings?
Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December 2022
Matilda the Musical, Saturday and Sunday mornings, 11am, Doors will open at 10am, Violent Night, Saturday evening, 7.30pm, Doors will open at 7pm,
Black Panther, Sunday afternoon, 2.30pm, Doors will open at 2pm.
How many tickets can I get?
Each member can get four tickets for the morning shows (one event each member) and two tickets for the evening and afternoon showings (one event each member).
How can I book my free tickets?
Please note that tickets are to be ordered online and allocated seats will be booked. Full details will be available on the Branch website, Facebook and Twitter pages.
Tickets will be available from Thursday 27th October 2022, please do NOT contact the Cinema before this date.
Unfortunately there is no option to come into the Cinema or phone in to book.
Bookings will be cancelled if you exceed the ticket limits.
You will be asked to confirm your name, employer, Unison Membership number and a Contact number.
How do I find out my membership number?
It is available through My UNISON on unison.org.uk and on any Unison correspondence that is sent to you through the post or by email.
Extra information :
Children will be given popcorn, sweets and a drink upon their arrival for the morning shows.
There is a licensed Bar for the Saturday evening show and only over 18s can attend.
