World Social Work Day – 21st March 2023
Inverclyde HSCP is celebrating World Social Work Day at the Beacon Arts Centre Greenock PA15 1HJ from 1.30pm to 4pm.
Information will be available on social work services, training and development opportunities and recruitment.
Representatives from a range of services will be there to answer questions and to offer insight into the work of social work teams. Aiden O’Rourke and George Steele from UNISON Inverclyde will also be in attendance.
Services include:
- Quality and Learning – including dementia training, SVQ, practice learning and new sponsorship opportunities for social work staff;
- Mental Health services;
- Access 1st ;
- Fostering and adoption;
- Homelessness services;
- Autism services;
- Homecare recruitment and information;
- Children and Families services – recruitment and information.
